The school is a non-for-profit, independent research and educational institute and a member of the elite ‘Grand Ecoles’ system. La Rochelle has a long tradition of welcoming international students. On Campus, cultural diversity is an everyday reality; courses and extracurricular activities are shared between French students and more than 600 international students representing 32 nationalities. Beyond the campus students can explore the world, different cultures and civilizations through periods of expatriation. Both academic and work placements are available abroad for a period up to 2 years. To implement this opportunity, the school has a partner network consisting of 137 foreign universities in 33 countries and a network of more than 1 500 companies worldwide that have welcomed students for the last 25 years. La Rochelle has a strong commitment to teaching. 45% of the courses are taught by professionals active in business. As well each programme at La Rochelle Business School has a Corporate Relations Manager responsible for maintaining a network of business partners and assisting students in building their professional career plans.
